Rotary Conference Show Case Bendigo VIC, Australia

About This Group

You are invited to view 35 inspiring and practical projects that provide humanitarian aid and community support at the Rotary Showcase. Running alongside the District Conference, this free showcase is being held in the Ulumbarra Theatre precinct at Bendigo from 13-14 April.

If you are interested in volunteering this is your opportunity to see how you can get involved.

The showcase features international and local projects. Castlemaine Rotary is showcasing its unique Reading Along Dads Mums program. Initiated by Friends of Castlemaine Library 12 years ago and now operated under the auspice of Castlemaine Rotary this program helps prisoners maintain a positive connection with their children.

One of the international projects to be showcased is Shelterbox. They provide shelter for communities impacted by natural disasters including helping today with shelter for people in Gaza.

There will also be booths with a health, youth, equity, and refugee focus amongst many other things.

The free showcase will be open to the public from 9am-5pm Saturday 13th April and 9am-12noon Sunday 14th April in the Ulumbarra Theatre precinct.
