Wine Blending Experience And Chef's Table Long Lunch

Wine Blending Experience And Chef's Table Long Lunch

Starts: Saturday, 18 May 2024
Ends: Saturday, 08 June 2024
Experience the very best of Tahbilk with a group wine blending workshop followed by lunch with all the participants at the Chef's Long Table at Tahbilk Estate Restaurant. Spaces are limited to eight participants. Your experience begins the moment you drive down the tree-lined driveway to our estate and arrive at the historic Tahbilk Estate Cellar Door. You meet at the Len Evans Museum, where you are guided by your wine ambassador on how to taste wine like a winemaker, exploring the difference between two red wine varietals and their unique palate. Delve into why they blend wine and the way they do it at Tahbilk. Using your new-found knowledge, combine different varietals to create your own signature red wine blend to bottle and label on the day. Continue your experience at the Tahbilk Estate Restaurant, where your reservation will have your group seated together at the best table available in the house. Their Head Chef, Jonathon Mackeson, will create a three-course menu that has been thoughtfully paired with three of their most iconic wines. He will personally explain the significance behind wine and food pairing and why his selection works so well. To commemorate your experience, you get to take home the bottle of your own signature blend, one of their iconic Old Vines Cabernet Shiraz and Tahbilk’s 150 Years of Vintage History Book.
