Wilderness Wonderland

Wilderness Wonderland

Starts: Thursday, 04 July 2024
Ends: Sunday, 21 July 2024
We’ve partnered with Strahan Primary School to create a family-friendly winter wonderland at Lower Landing Station this Off Season. Winter is the best time to get out and explore our West Coast heritage and wilderness… It’s moody, crisp, misty and mysterious. You never know what magic you might stumble on in the rainforest! Step onboard the West Coast Wilderness Railway’s heritage diesel train at Regatta Point Station in Strahan for the Teepookana and the King journey and head deep into the rainforest. At Lower Landing Station, look out for a magical world created by local school children and enjoy their native-inspired fairyland. Take a short scavenger hunt to uncover native fauna and flora before claiming your winter-y prize as you head back to Strahan onboard.
