Step back in time onboard Melbourne's iconic Red Rattler Tait train hauled by a vintage steam locomotive as Steamrail Victoria returns their popular shuttle trips to the Sunbury line. Five shuttles will whistle their way up the grade on a nostalgic return journey between Watergardens Station and Sunbury Station. With steam locomotive A2 986 hauling the Tait train, open the windows and experience the steam era. You may also join on transfer trains from Newport Station or Flinders Street Station to Watergardens Station in the morning or Watergardens Station to Flinders Street Station or Newport Station in the afternoon. Come along for a ride on The Vintage Train for a fun family day out through Melbourne's north Western suburbs.
