The opera Two Remain, by renowned American composer Jake Heggie, is based on the true stories of Holocaust survivors Krystyna Zywulska, a Polish dissident, and Gad Beck, a Jewish gay man who suffered not only for his religion but for his homosexuality. This Australian premiere production is an important reminder of the horrific pain inflicted during the Holocaust and a reflection of the enduring power of love and humanity.
