Expert specialist horticultural teachers deliver free workshops on topics such as bonsai techniques, native orchid growing, weed identification and management, and promotion of Food Organics and Garden Organics use on behalf of Bega Valley Shire Council. Regular notable media-personality presenters include Costa Georgiadis, Paul West, and Bruce Pascoe. ABC South East NSW live broadcasts the events. Brent Whiter, national award-winning horticulturalist, and owner of Tura Nursery, provides individual advice on all matters gardening. Brent is also known as the voice of Gardening Talkback on local ABC Radio.
