Treaty in the Park

Starts: Sunday, 24 November 2024
Ends: Sunday, 24 November 2024
Treaty in the Park is a spectacular celebration of First Nations culture and music, taking place at Wyndham Park. Set on Wadawurrung Country along the scenic banks of the Werribee River, this all-ages music festival is hosted by the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria and Wyndham City. The deadly line up will include ARIA Award winner Dan Sultan, Filipino Wiradjuri artist Mo’ju, legendary singer songwriter, Uncle Kutcha Edwards, Australian music industry veteran Brolga and country music crooner, Madi Colville-Walker. There will also craft stalls, food trucks and more to enjoy, with the festival’s central location in Werribee City Centre, providing the perfect opportunity to explore the city’s dining scene, with loads of cafes, restaurants, and takeaway options to enjoy. Treaty in the Park is an opportunity for people of all backgrounds to celebrate First Nations talent and to learn more about and get involved with Victoria’s journey towards Treaty. The First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria will be onsite, with the chance to have a yarn, learn about Treaty and find out about community-led initiatives happening across the State. This is an all-ages event, however anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Treaty in the Park is a ticketed event, with tickets now on sale via the website.
