The Zoe K Whole Experience

The Zoe K Whole Experience

Starts: Sunday, 05 May 2024
Ends: Sunday, 05 May 2024
This Sonic Sunday presents Zoe K, an internationally acclaimed vocalist that has been commanding the stage with her blend of jazz and soul with an added pinch of that old school substance and style. Having relocated to Sydney and now residing in Gosford after performing at her second home New Orleans, Zoe K is a fresh addition to the music scene with a remarkable voice that pays tribute to the bygone greats of soul, jazz and blues. Spurning tradition for turntables, she spent years locked in her room mimicking every Etta James, Erykah Badu, and Ruth Brown record she could find, eventually rising to prominence when she swept up the 1223 ABC Female Vocalist of the Year award. Her local achievements back in her Aussie soil include performing at festivals such as Woodford Folk Festival, Manly Jazz Festival, Gumball and was also asked to perform at events such as the film premiere of 50 Shades Of Grey at Fox Studios, Sydney and The Archibald Prize Tour.   With her hard working, 6 inch pump wearing, immaculate hair, this unapologetic show pony has no signs of slowing down. This is an all-ages event (Under 18s to be accompanied by an adult), in a fully accessible venue.
