Starts: Friday, 17 May 2024
Ends: Friday, 17 May 2024
To celebrate the 25th anniversaries of both the legendary Australian surfer Mark Occhilupo’s 1999 ASP World title and the release of the award-winning surf film The Occumentary, filmmaker Jack McCoy and Occhilupo are joining the team at Lorne Theatre for a special screening of the film and Q&A. The Occumentary charts Occy’s career, from his dizzying rise to the top of the ASP ratings at the young age of 17, through to his hiatus from competitive surfing in the late ’80s, and his historic comeback in 1999.
