The Mirrool Silo Kick

The Mirrool Silo Kick

Starts: Saturday, 12 October 2024
Ends: Saturday, 12 October 2024
Bring on the 2024 Mirrool Silo Kick. The Silos once again claimed a win in 2022, but is anyone up for the challenge this year? Many have tried and failed. Only a few have the skill and the power to beat the Silos! The annual Mirrool Silo Kick challenge has grown into a post-season pilgrimage since Geelong's Billy Brownless thumped home the first silo kick in 1992. The concrete silos are 30 metres high and 10 metres wide with a walkway across the top adding another few metres. Since the start of the kick, it has grown to incorporate the following events; Junior Kick (5 years to 11 years & 12 years to 16 years); Ladies Kick; Men's over 40 Kick.
