The Flaming Lips

Starts: Thursday, 30 January 2025
Ends: Thursday, 30 January 2025
The alt icons will be performing their 2002 seminal record Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots played in full, plus cult classics from their stellar discography. Renowned for their euphoric shows, The Guardian describe their live performances as “the purest, most potent dose of feelgood psychedelia imaginable”, with Sydney Morning Herald crowning them one of the “world’s most impressive live acts”. Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2022, Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots remains one of the most influential alt rock albums of all time. The GRAMMY award-winners reached critical acclaim with the release, earning them their first RIAA certified Gold Record after the eagerly awaited follow-up to 1999’s masterwork, The Soft Bulletin, proving that singer/guitarist Wayne Coyne and multi-instrumentalist Steven Drozd had yet another masterpiece in them.
