'The Cave. A River. An Island' | M16 Artspace Exhibition

Starts: Saturday, 10 August 2024
Ends: Sunday, 01 September 2024
‘The Cave. A River. An Island’ a solo exhibition by Ross Andrews. Ross Andrews’s latest exhibition explores the intersection of modern media disinformation and ancient allegory through expressive landscapes. Inspired by the deceptions of Plato's Cave, the artworks reflect on personal and environmental journeys of discovery. They highlight what we hear (and don’t hear) about climate change on Australia’s ecosystems. 'The Cave. A River. An Island' will open alongside other exhibitions: 'Testamur 6' by Canberra Art Workshop and 'Fairy Land' by David Helmers. Don’t miss the opening of these fantastic exhibitions, head to the website to learn more! M16 Artspace operates on the lands of the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people. They honour and pay their respects to their traditional custodians. They acknowledge this land ‘always was and always will be’ the country of Australia’s First Nations People. Sovereignty was never ceded.
