Gather your clan and your kilt for a huge day of Scottish culture at Overnewton Castle in Keilor. The grounds will come to life with games and activities for children, live Scottish music and dance, Highland Cows and culinary offerings from Melbourne's leading Scottish Food Suppliers. Pack a picnic or sample the scrumptious offerings at the celtic craft market, while you take in the stunning surrounds of this Scottish baronial homestead, celebrating its 175th year! The festival program includes The Drongo and the Crow, Victorian Scottish Pipers & Drums, Glenbrae Celtic Dancers, Lyons Highland Dancers, a Ceilidh hosted by The Brunswick Scots Society and a traditional music session hosted by Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club. Other activities include Traditional Highland Coos, local history display from the Keilor Historical Society, face painting, pony rides, artisan and craft market, food stalls and a festival parade.
