Calling on all car, motorcycle and Superhero enthusiasts, you're needed for the next 'one-hour drive' around Canberra on a Classic Cruise. It promises to be the best one yet! You'll start at NAC and the finish line will be the Questacon car park. Last year's journey started from the National Arboretum in Canberra, meandering out across Uriarra Crossing, through the Cotter, down past the Dam and back to the Lake foreshores near Questacon for a delightful sausage sizzle and the 'Show n Shine' event. It was a spectacular drive on one of those gorgeous Canberra spring days. This year they're planning a new route that they guarantee will be equally scenic and fun for all. Especially if you decide to don your favourite Superhero costume, the more outrageous the better! What defines the Classic Cruise? The Cruise is open to vehicles aged 20 years or older, luxury exotic cars, corporate-branded vehicles, members of car clubs, trucks, unique rides, and motorcycles. The Classic Cruise is an annual event raising funds for Camp Quality through your registrations, your sponsorships and generous donations. Everyone’s encouraged to share their fundraising efforts to maximise contributions, with the ‘Top Ten’ fundraisers earning the coveted pole position to lead the Cruise. It’s a fun outing for a wonderful cause – please come and join in!
