Symphony Series 4 – Mythic

Symphony Series 4 – Mythic

Starts: Friday, 04 July 2025
Ends: Saturday, 05 July 2025
The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra performs Symphony Series 4 – Mythic, this winter, at Adelaide Town Hall! Elena Kats-Chernin conjures the atmosphere of a mystical cave in Mythic, where shadowy strings and twinkling winds reflect the faint glimmer of light in a cavernous realm. Stravinsky reveals the spark of another fairytale in Petrushka, his zippy ballet score that brings to life some seriously mischievous puppets. The concert reaches its grand finale with the majesty of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.5, Emperor, featuring world-renowned Spanish pianist Javier Perianes.
