Suitcase Rummage

Starts: Saturday, 04 May 2024
Ends: Saturday, 01 June 2024
Suitcase Rummage is your local community market, without the hassle! Pack your suitcase with your pre-loved wares and/or handmade creations and sell straight out of your suitcase. It’s as easy as that! There are no tents, no tables, no racks, no overheads and most importantly, no elitism. Suitcase Rummage as a social enterprise began as a humble alternative to the community market scene, where mass produced items reigned and local makers and collectors struggled to compete. The idea was born over a cup of tea by two young gals (Daniele and Isabel) desperate for change. What started as a grass roots market in Brisbane has grown to become a sustainable market alternative across the country. Suitcase Rummages herald recycling, encourage more conscious consumption and connect community!

New to Common Times? Here's our Quick Start Guide to help you.

Common Times acknowledges the traditional owners, first storytellers and custodians of the land we live on. We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their ongoing connection to land, sea, and community. Their sovereignty was never ceded.
