Stomp! Wines Pottery, Wine and Cheese

Stomp! Wines Pottery, Wine and Cheese

Starts: Friday, 04 October 2024
Ends: Friday, 04 October 2024
Stomp! Wines and Hunter Valley Ceramics are partnering to bring Pottery, Wine and Cheese to you. This two and an half event is held at Stomp Wines Cellar Door, Lovedale. In this hands-on experience, you will enjoy a tasting of wines accompanied with a local cheese plate - all whilst making a variety of your very own keepsake pottery table and serving ware (mugs, little bowls, and plates). The pottery pieces are designed and made using slab or pinching techniques then decorated by carving, slip painting, or stamping. After the workshop, pieces will be glazed and fired and ready for pick up from Hunter Valley Ceramics approximately three to four weeks after workshop completion. The workshop will include a glass of Stomp! Sparkling drink upon arrival, followed by a wine tasting session of Stomp! Wines. A Binnorie Dairy cheese plate will also be provided for the attendees. Participants will get to work with clay and use the necessary tools to create their individual designs. The instructors will provide guidance on how to achieve the desired design. Finally, the workshop will include glaze firing to complete the art pieces.
