Silver Jewellery Studio Session

Silver Jewellery Studio Session

Starts: Saturday, 10 August 2024
Ends: Saturday, 10 August 2024
Now is the time to devote a weekend away for learning the basics of the silver-working process, and when you visit the beautiful Glen Innes Highlands, that means spending a creative day with Richard Moon at The Makers Shed. Bring a design and learn how to make it a reality. You'll learn to hand-cut sterling silver and/or copper, solder and/or cold-connect it, or work with techniques such as fold-forming or bezel-setting. To finish, you'll polish up your piece and can wear it home. The cost includes enough sterling silver and copper for one ring, pendant, brooch or pair of earrings; and a limited selection of raw materials and stones: vintage linoleum, leather, moonstones, freshwater pearls, etc. Design and make something special.
