The Shoalhaven River Festival is a community event held in Nowra during late October to celebrate the beautiful Shoalhaven River. A free event with a wide variety of free activities and some user-pay attractions, the Shoalhaven River Festival unites the community and visitors to the region for a day of action-packed family-friendly activities. The 2025 Festival will unite community will live entertainment, market and food stalls, workshops and nature activities, art and craft activities a sports zone and plenty of fun for the whole family. Parking on-site is strictly limited. Details about transport and parking options will be announced closer to the event. A Grand Finale fireworks display and lights and sound extravaganza will culminate the event about 9:00pm on the Saturday.
