Shimmery Burlesque is a groundbreaking Burlesque stage show that follows the life of Lady Shimmery, a dressmaker who becomes immersed in costuming for Burlesque. Throughout the entire show, captivating Burlesque numbers unfold, seamlessly weaving into the fabric of Lady Shimmery's narrative. A cast of twenty glisten with rhinestones, feathers and tassels! The show begins in Lady Shimmery's workroom, inspired by the romance of old-fashioned dressing rooms, adorned with sewing machines and mirrors. Audiences are then transported to the city of Paris, where timeless gardens, parasols, park benches, painters and French Cabaret provide the glamorous backdrop for the story of how Lady Shimmery fell in love with the art of vintage tease.
