As a first to the City of Griffith, the Griffith Golf Club will be hosting the inaugural staging of the Seniors (Legends) Pro-Am Golf Tournament to be played on the picturesque lush but challenging Griffith Golf Course. This event allows local and visiting amateur golfers to participate and play alongside Australian golf greats such as Peter Lonard, Andre Stolz, Peter Senior and Mike Harwood. The PGA Legends Tour donates one percent of total prize money to Police Legacy. Last year, the PGA Legends Tour staged 76 events worth AUD1.9 million, numbers they hope to better in 2024 and Griffith will be one of these.
