Seafood on Spencer 2025

Starts: Saturday, 29 March 2025
Ends: Saturday, 29 March 2025
Seafood on Spencer is the ULTIMATE Gulf to Plate experience showcasing Spencer Gulf seafood at it's finest. Recognised as the ‘Event of the Year’ by the Barunga West Council, this festival exemplifies community spirit and culinary excellence, celebrating our region's rich seafood culture and attracting visitors from near and far. The festival is a vibrant celebration of local Spencer Gulf seafood, with the non-profit event offering a unique ‘Gulf to Plate’ experience. It highlights the finest seafood from the Spencer Gulf in a relaxing, fun and family-friendly afternoon for locals, intrastate, interstate and international tourists to enjoy the local produce and environmental surroundings at the Port Broughton Foreshore. The immersive and unique culinary experience allows patrons to meet local fishermen, view their vessels and through various mediums, have the opportunity to view and learn about professional fishing processes. Seafood is freshly caught by local fishermen and prepared by hand-selected chefs and caterers from around the state who share our passion and ethos for quality and sustainable seafood from the Spencer Gulf. Our locavore approach in 2023 saw this experience complemented by Yorke Peninsula, Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills and Clare Valley beverages. Whilst showcasing the incredible seafood, we have a main stage with live music and a second stage with a cooking demonstration. This event will sell out! Secure your ticket now via Eventbrite.
