The Sale Music Festival "Picnic on the Green" is a free annual community event for the whole family held each year in Sale.​ The 2025 event will see Gippsland's best musicians will once again take to the stage between 11am and 7pm. The 2025 Event will be held at the Port Of Sale, with wide open spaces to kick back and enjoy some amazing local Gippsland performers. The Sale Music Festival is a free family friendly event, with kids activities, food options and a laid back atmosphere make Sale Music Festival a perfect outing for the whole family. With musicians on offer to please all ages and tastes, simply bring a picnic rug or chairs, grab a spot on the green and spend the day watching Gippsland’s best musicians take to the stage.
