PS Marion Cruise Morgan to Mannum

PS Marion Cruise Morgan to Mannum

Starts: Thursday, 05 September 2024
Ends: Sunday, 08 September 2024
Hop aboard and travel from Mannum to Morgan on the PS Marion, the world's oldest paddle steamer with accommodation. A fully restored heritage vessel built in 1897, the Marion was recommissioned in late 1994 following her restoration by a dedicated team of volunteers who contributed many thousands of hours to this project. Being one of the last steam driven, wood fired, overnight passenger carrying side paddle steamers in the world, she stands now as a testament to their enthusiasm and dedication. PS Marion continues to be maintained and crewed by volunteers. All meals are included, with most being served and enjoyed onboard. On your first day cruising, experience the majestic Murray River cliffs and wild birdlife and meet fellow travellers. Wake up to the stillness and sounds of the river after a memorable night's sleep on board in your private heritage cabin. Embard on a guided tour at Ngaut Ngaut, and have dinner on board with guest speaker Chris Tugwell. Visit Blanchetown, which is nestled on the cliffs of the Murray and features two bridges spanning the expansive waterway. Enjoy a camp Oven dinner at Cordola. All coach transfers included. All-inclusive AUD1200.00 per person twin share.
