Pottery Workshop - Create your own wall hanging, altar or foraged treasure box
Starts:
Sunday, 05 May 2024
Ends:
Sunday, 05 May 2024
Join them in the studio on Sunday 5th May 9:30am - 12pm, to learn how to create in clay using slabs. In this 2 1/2 hour workshop you can create your own wall hanging, altar or foraged treasure box.
This longer workshop allows you the time to create and decorate your piece. You can work in white or brown clay or use a combination of the two.
This workshop is a great option for those with some clay experience to create their own project or if this is your first time working with clay I have projects you can copy.
During the 2 1/2 hour workshop they will take you through the steps to build your piece and you can decorate it using under glazes and tissue transfer. On the rare occasion any breakages occur during the firing process, they will repair them to the best of their ability. However, if your piece is unable to be repaired, you will be offered the opportunity to remake it or a full refund.
They will then carefully dry your piece before its first firing and will clear glaze and fire your piece. It will be ready for collection from the studio in 2-3 weeks.
