Plant Based Yoga Retreat

Starts: Thursday, 26 September 2024
Ends: Sunday, 29 September 2024
The Yoga Retreat offers a holistic approach to health and wellness. The transformative retreat aims to nourish the body, mind, and spirit with a plant-based/sattvic diet that supports health and well-being. Guests can practice Jivamukti Yoga, which combines physical postures, mediation, and chanting to help achieve a deeper sense of inner peace, as well as Zen Buddhism meditation and mindfulness practices. The retreat also provides time for restoration with free time and spa treatments. The focus is on body-mind detoxification through Ayurveda and silent periods to achieve balance and serenity. The retreat offers Triguṇa, the art of maintaining a balanced life at home. Evening circles, known as Satsang and Prajñā, explore yogic morality, the wisdom of enlightened masters, and spiritual scriptures. Guests will explore how to bring yoga, nutrition, and mindful practices as part of their daily lives. The retreat includes a Plant-Based/Sattvic diet, guided nutritional science by Chef David Lisken, Jivamukti Yoga with Dean Galip, three nights of accommodation, Zen Buddhism meditation and mindfulness, a cooking workshop, yoga and nutrition education, and Satsang and Prajñā, which are evening gatherings that combine yogic morality talks, the wisdom of enlightened masters, and spiritual scriptures.
