For over 20 years the Railway Modellers Club of Qld (Men's Shed) has proudly presented an annual Model Train and Hobby Expo. This year will be bigger than ever with over 45 exhibits. It will appeal to families and children as well as serious modellers. See passenger and freight trains from various countries wind their way through miniature cities, towns, tunnels, bridges, scenery, and industries. As well as showcasing many diverse model railway layouts, the Expo will have a wide variety of shops with new and pre-loved items, modelling technique demonstrations, Lego displays, Thomas the Tank Engine, and opportunities for kids to control model trains. Although the focus is mainly on model railways, other hobbies such as miniature figures, radio control, boats, wargaming, dolls houses, etc are included. A canteen/café is available.
