The Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival is an annual 4-day event celebrating art in all its forms with live performances, exhibitions, workshops, walking tours, and entertainment for young and old. Events include State Opera, a comprehensive Family Programme , John Shaw Neilson Acquisitive Art Prize, Festival Design Prize, Coonawarra Hall Music Night of Shenanigans, Literary Events and many more art exhibitions, competitions, fabulous food and fine wine in the beautiful township of Penola in the Coonawarra wine region. The events are held in a variety of venues from cellar doors to galleries, and appeal to families, children, art lovers and all festival goers.
