Out West Piano Fest returns to historic Blackdown Farm in Bathurst. The sounds of the piano will once again ring out over the landscape with a program that is inspired by place, culinary delights and a collaborative passion for piano music by four top Australian pianists. Single tickets are now available for purchase to any of the five concerts. This three-day fully immersive music, food and wine festival celebrates the best of the Central-West with five themed concerts curated by Music Director Konstantin Shamray. The concerts are complimented by three delicious food and wine experiences and two-morning teas set amidst the expansive parklands at Blackdown Farm. Konstantin along with leading pianists Lee Dionne, Vatche Jambazian and Grace Kim bring the programs to life, deriving inspiration from an eclectic palette of composers and arrangers. Mendelssohn’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ and Stravinsky’s ‘Firebird Suite’ are paired with Chopin, Liszt, Bach, Schumann, Mussorgsky, Prokofiev and more to create an exquisite weekend of music.
