Leading Victorian public gallery Town Hall Gallery, located within the historic Hawthorn Arts Centre, is inviting art lovers to enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour. Gallery staff will guide guests through the exhibition spaces, four current exhibitions, curators workroom and collections storeroom. The tour rounds up with a visit to the Hawthorn Artist Society studio in the former Hawthorn Town Hall basement, to meet members and observe an art class in action. Hawthorn Arts Centre invites children and parents to the Explore and Create space. This space is an opportunity to relax and to create, with fun activities available to connect with your inner artist.
