In collaboration with the Brisbane Street Art Festival program, the Brisbane public are invited to learn the history and techniques of Injalak Artists as they take you through traditional processes of making their art. Using traditional ochres on artist’s paper, participants will be guided through the Bininj Kunwok cultural traditions and how they are being maintained and practised today. Participants will learn techniques, styles and the Djung (Dreaming) of West Arnhem Land and will leave the workshop with a self-painted artwork, guided by the artists.
