Held in the picturesque Gulf of Carpentaria in Karumba, QLD, the Ocean & Outback Film Festival is a free two-day annual event. The Festival kicks off on Saturday with an outdoor short film festival held in Karumba QLD, up to 15 short films will be screened and awarded monetary prizes by a panel of celebrity judges. Live music, food and films! Bring picnic rug, your friends and family and sit back to enjoy a night under the stars! OOFF advises films are unclassified and some are suited to 15 plus years. The Sunday features a filmmaking and acting workshop held in Karumba from and is a chance to learn from industry experts about the industry. The entire festival is free.
