National Sorry Day is an annual day of commemoration and remembrance of the Indigenous Australians impacted by government policies of forcible removal that resulted in the Stolen Generations. National Sorry Day is held on the 26th May each year. A commemoration event will be held at The Australian Botanic Gardens in Mount Annan. All attendees of the community event are welcome to bring a floral tribute to place at the Stolen Generations Memorial.
