National Simultaneous Storytime 2024 at Libraries ACT

Starts: Wednesday, 22 May 2024
Ends: Wednesday, 22 May 2024
Libraries ACT is proud to partner with Australian Library and Information Association as part of National Simultaneous Storytime 2024. Set your alarms, gather your little ones, and prepare to embark on a colourful adventure together reading ‘Bowerbirds Blues’ by Aura Parker. National Simultaneous Storytime highlights the important work that libraries do every day. When reading together, it helps language development, learning, and literacy, all while building community. It’s also a lot of fun! As part of the fun this year’s event they're asking everyone to wear a little blue to connect with the Bowerbird in the story. Stay tuned for some special guest readers spreading their wings for NSS in 2024!

COMMON TIMES

New to Common Times? Here's our Quick Start Guide to help you.

Common Times acknowledges the traditional owners, first storytellers and custodians of the land we live on. We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their ongoing connection to land, sea, and community. Their sovereignty was never ceded.
