Nathan Slater Quartet at Kew Court House

Nathan Slater Quartet at Kew Court House

Starts: Saturday, 10 August 2024
Ends: Saturday, 10 August 2024
Virtuoso guitarist and composer Nathan Slater brings his quartet ensemble to live music destination Kew Court House. As he emerges as one of the most exciting musical voices in the country, this live show delivers the most beautiful moments from across his body of work. A diverse musical upbringing steeped in jazz, flamenco, tango and the vibrant rhythms of Brazil, has given Slater’s compositions a deep reverence for these traditions. Slater collaborates on several lauded live music projects, including La Rumba, La Nuit Blanche, Amerigos and Simplemente Tango. The evening at Kew Court House promises a taste of them all. Fans of gypsy rumba flamenco and the literature, history, and music of Latin America will savour a close-up moment with the Nathan Slater Quartet as they traverse the notes that define these genres. With the help of Jaime Carrasco on bass, Anthony Schulz on accordion and Ryan Menenzes on drums, The Nathan Slater Quartet create music that’s rich, elegant and deeply moving. The Arts Bar opens from 7pm. Allocated theatre style seating.
