Thanks to everyone who attended the 2024 Narrabri Races, keep an eye out for information for 2025! Narrabri Jockey Club is pleased to announce the annual Narrabri Races are back. Join them as they celebrate 150 years since the Narrabri Jockey Club committee as it is known as today was established. Get ready for a day out of country racing filled with excitement, entertainment and of course, fashions on the field. Come along and enjoy a great day of country racing at its best at the Annual Narrabri Picnic Races located at the Narrabri Racecourse. Enjoy Fashions on the Field, and canteen and bar on site. Track side tote and Tab betting facilities are available with local and interstate tote, undercover sponsors area, and bookmakers on course. The Narrabri Jockey Club and racecourse has a rich history in horse racing and events in the Narrabri region. The club committee as it currently is today was officially formed in 1874 and is one of the longest standing clubs in the Narrabri Shire. Horse racing has been an enjoyable past time for locals with historical evidence indicating a race was held in Narrabri 16 years before the current club was formed. This event was to celebrate the opening of Narrabri’s first pub, the Greyhound Inn in 1858. Great family fun day out!
