Narooma Oyster Festival

Narooma Oyster Festival

Starts: Friday, 03 May 2024
Ends: Saturday, 04 May 2024
Narooma Oyster Festival celebrates the Rock Oyster on the shores of Wagonga Inlet and is a favourite on the New South Wales food and drinks calendar. Rock Oysters embody a symphony of region, season, region and cultivation. Paired with wholesome produce, great drops and opportunities to dive deeper into the world of oysters - it creates a festival that people return to year after year. The two-day program blends cosmopolitan and Indigenous food experiences with transformative tastings, live music, food markets, and an impressive selection of celebrated wines, beers and spirits. Discover the merroir of Rock Oyster estuaries at Oyster Farmers Alley, delve deeper with the experts in an Ultimate Oyster Experience with John Susman and drift away on a Champagne Oyster Cruise. Learn from celebrated chefs including Hao Chen (Raku), Serif Kaya (The Ottoman), Elodie Marion (Mimi's, Sydney), Corey Costelloe (Formerly of Rockpool Group), Belinda Dorsett (Mossy Group) and Courtney Roulston (Farm to Fork). Friday's Night Warm-up is headlined by Deborah Conway and Willy Zygier, with Benji and the Saltwater Sound System, Robyn Martin and more. On Saturday, Dom Turner and the Rural Blues Project and The SunBears lead a line-up featuring Jackson Carroll, Dan Cully and more. Coaches travel between Batemans Bay and Bermagui on Saturday and a free shuttle bus around town.
