The New South Wales Police Band is regarded as the State Band of NSW. Formed in 1895, the NSW Police Force proudly boasts the country’s oldest concert band. It is a full-time unit of the NSW Police Force, providing musical support to NSW State Government and Police events, including Royal occasions and Papal visits, as well as prestigious ceremonies for Presidents and Australian sporting teams and athletes.
