Music in Colour - Concert one of six. The latest exhibition at the Orange Regional Gallery, Kuba Dorabialski: 'Crying', is particularly evocative: a video work, filmed in the Central West region including on Gaanha-bula (Mount Canobolas) outside Orange. This story explores what it is to be a homesick migrant on stolen country. The video installation will be the mesmerising backdrop for the first in a series of six concerts to be held in the Gallery, called Music in Colour, in a collaboration between FORG, Orange Regional Gallery and Orange Regional Conservatorium. In this concert, musicians from the Conservatorium will perform works that will creatively respond to Dorabialski’s exhibition. This is an exciting collaboration and not to be missed. All proceeds will go towards acquisitions of works for the Gallery. The second Concert is expected in November. Date to be advised.
