Catering for all levels of cycling ability, the Mudgee Classic is a road and gravel cycling event. The Dirty Mudgee Gravel Ride (55 kilometres) - This specially chosen gravel course showcases Mudgee’s spectacular rural scenery, the region’s impressive vineyards and iconic Australian country landscape. There are fast sections of smooth rural lanes, trails and country roads with almost 700 vertical metres of climbing. There will also be three road cycling courses to choose from: The Maxi Classic (170 kilometres) – a testing Gran Fondo that takes in some of the most breathtaking and undulating scenery you can experience on two wheels. The Challenge Classic (120 kilometres) – perfect for those who want to test their endurance on a serious long-distance ride but aren’t quite ready for the full Gran Fondo experience. The Rouleurs Classic (65 kilometres) - the mid-distance ride will showcase the best of the Mudgee region. The Social Classic (35 kilometres) - a family ride through the vineyards of Mudgee. Located just 268 kilometres northwest of Sydney, Mudgee is known for its rolling hills, exquisite food and rustic charm vineyards. And enjoys a bustling enthusiastic cycling culture!
