Mosaic are a vibrant ten-piece contemporary Jazz ensemble rapidly emerging as an exciting force in the Sydney Jazz scene! Mosaic (2024 Fine Music Sydney Artists in Residence) focus on performing and premiering all new bespoke compositions written for the band by Australian composers under 25, culminating in a uniquely youthful and energetic sound. Mosaic have held a year-long residency at Foundry616, as well as played jazz festivals across NSW including the Conservatorium Jazz Festival, the Manly Jazz festival and are slated to appear at the Wangaratta Jazz Festival. Mosaic will be appearing at The Music Lounge to launch their debut album - Where We Are Now – a collection of original large ensemble works that display a cross section of Sydney’s growing jazz and composition scene.
