Join Steamrail as theyoperate a steam locomotive with the vintage 'Red Rattler' Tait Train from Mernda Station on Sunday 28th April 2024. These shuttles will travel on a scenic return journey through Melbourne's Northern Suburbs between Mernda and Reservoir. Take a seat in our heritage carriages with beautiful wood veneer panelling, pressed tin ceilings and opening windows to fully experience the steam era! You may also join them on their transfer trains from Newport or Flinders Street to Mernda in the morning or Mernda to Flinders Street or Newport in the evening. Come along for a ride on The Vintage Train for a fun family day out through Melbourne's suburbs.
