Starts: Saturday, 04 May 2024
Ends: Saturday, 04 May 2024
Melbourne Poets Union (MPU) is a self-funded, incorporated not for profit organisation dedicated to the promotion of poets and poetry. They host monthly events in different venues around Melbourne and Victoria, run an annual international poetry competition, publish chapbooks, maintain an increasing web presence and are always looking for new opportunities for members. To celebrate Finding My Feet - An Anthology of Poetic Voices edited by Dorothy Pouopoulos the MPU is profiling two Wagga poets featured in the book - John 'Mukky' Burke and Marie Clear. The afternoon will feature poetry from the two poets and guest poets from Melbourne and a panel discussion with Dorothy, Mukky and Marie.
