Established in 1996 by Barung Landcare, the iconic Maleny Wood Expo promotes the sustainable use of our beautiful timbers through the work of local and regional wood artisans. The Maleny Wood Expo is known as one of the best wood shows in Australia and attracts up to 10,000 people each year, offering something for everyone. From workshops with some of the finest woodworkers in the country, children’s woodworking activities, educational talks, fine furniture and art, live music, interactive tool and trade displays to a range of sustainably harvested timber for sale and more. There are over 150 exhibitors to visit! The Maleny Wood Expo is Barung Landcare's biggest fundraiser for the year, with all proceeds from ticket sales going back into regional projects that help protect our local environment.
