Make – Ceramics with JamFactory

Starts: Saturday, 04 May 2024
Ends: Saturday, 04 May 2024
Add finesse to your cooking in this fresh new series. Hosted by Mandy Hall and led by chefs and artisans, sessions will share stories through food and focus on one simple skill. Each is set to be fun and immersive, with no assumed knowledge, plenty of guidance and a drink as you go. Let’s get started. Bold, fresh design thrives at South Australia’s JamFactory studios. Ceramics are a feature, with many beautiful pieces destined for local restaurants. Now comes a chance to see a JamFactory expert at work. Shape clay and learn about its transformation to a finished piece. Guests will use the Japanese kurinuki technique to form a unique vessel, and will be contacted to collect their piece from JamFactory in Morphett Street after its firing.

COMMON TIMES

New to Common Times? Here's our Quick Start Guide to help you.

Common Times acknowledges the traditional owners, first storytellers and custodians of the land we live on. We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their ongoing connection to land, sea, and community. Their sovereignty was never ceded.
