Macclesfield Art Festival Creative Pursuits offers accessible, affordable ‘bite-sized’ creative experiences offered in one township. Audiences may attend the art exhibition showcasing a range of mediums (photography, sculpture, ceramics, glass, watercolour, oils, acrylic) or stay and ‘play’ to attend one of the many interactive creative workshops on offer (weaving, printmaking, clay work, limestone sculpting, rug making, felting, drawing, painting, leather work, music). The festival offers something for all age-group participation, families with children, the novice interested in trying a new creative outlet, practised artists and those who enjoy immersion in cultural experiences and meeting like-minded.
