Lukáš Vondráček | in Recital at Snow Concert Hall in partnership with Piano+

Starts: Friday, 30 August 2024
Ends: Friday, 30 August 2024
“One of the greatest pianistic talents of our times” - Stuttgart Zeitung Since winning the most reputable piano competition in the world – The Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition – Lukáš Vondráček’s has over the past 10 years travelled the world as soloist with top tier orchestras such as the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra, Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, Oslo Philharmonic and Netherlands Philharmonic. Lukas made his début with Czech Philharmonic at the age of fifteen under the aegis of Vladimir Ashkenazy, who said of him, “Such a pianist is born once in thirty years.” The winner of numerous prestigious international prizes since then, his natural and assured musicality and remarkable technique have long marked him out as a gifted and mature musician known for his blend of power, lyricism and nuance, and as a pianist with an enormously deep range of unforced expression. The superb program he presents at Snow Concert Hall, is an intuitive exploration of the inner worlds of Brahms, Scriabin and Schumann, and is a wonderful opportunity to experience this remarkable soloist at the height of his considerable powers. Snow Concert Hall is proud to unveil their 2024 Season Pass. Subscribe to the entire season, enjoying the best seats in the house the whole year through! Get in contact with Snow Concert Hall Canberra for further details.
