The Loxton Historical Village Alive and Garden Day is a great family day out full of working historical exhibits and demonstrations. See sheep shearing, blacksmithing, whip-cracking (with come and try), printing, rope making and stationary engines working. There will also be a tractor parade, kid's crafts, food and craft stalls, and free horse and cart rides. Also, as part of the Riverland Rose and Garden festival week, you can enjoy the special gardens around the site and watch Jetty Baks, a floral artist from Lameroo doing her Native Flower Arrangement demonstrations. She will also have some of her beautiful bunches available for sale.
