Lost in the Garden

Starts: Wednesday, 10 July 2024
Ends: Thursday, 18 July 2024
Calling all budding adventurers! This winter school holidays, kids are invited to embark on a thrilling adventure that will challenge their minds, ignite their creativity, and deepen their connection with nature. Imagine if your child were lost in the Garden – would they know what to do? This program is designed to equip them with essential survival skills that could prove invaluable in such a situation. Under the guidance of experienced Educators, they'll learn how to use a compass with confidence and navigate their way back to safety. But it's not all about survival – there's plenty of adventure and excitement to be had too! Your child will have the opportunity to test their design skills by building a miniature raft and seeing if it can float in water. They'll also get hands-on experience crafting their own sundial and using it to tell time and direction with the guidance of knowledgeable staff. Throughout the program, your child will engage in a variety of fun and educational activities that will expand their knowledge of the natural world and foster a deeper appreciation for the beauty of the Garden. From thrilling treasure hunts using maps to nature craft activities that inspire creativity, there's something for every budding adventurer to enjoy.
