Burrinja Gallery presents a show case of contemporary print-making with a special focus on lino print applications. Featured are limited edition prints, artists books, scrolls and sculptures. In a series of intriguing complex and detailed compositions, renowned Sydney-based printmaker and teacher Rew Hanks delivers a satirical take on colonial characters such as Captain James Cook, botanist Joseph Banks, explorer Major Thomas Mitchell, French emperor Napoleon and his wife Josephine.
